Jack Petchey Award Winners
‘If you think you can, you can’ is the motto of the Jack Petchey Foundation and a group of our girls embodied this as they collected their award from the Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Alison Moore.
On Monday, 27th June, the Jack Petchey Foundation had their Awards Ceremony at the Arts Depot in North Finchley.
The evening began with an address by the Mayor of Barnet, who spoke about the humble beginnings of Sir Jack. Since the inception of the scheme in 1999, it has raised millions of pounds for schools and youth organisations in London. She spoke about the need to strive for a purpose.
Avigail R, Ariella G, Shani J and Shira L attended the event and were awarded medallions for their services to our School and the wider community. These girls embody Torah im Derech Eretz. They have such a positive attitude to life.
We are extremely proud of all our award winners!
